 Soon we will have a choice to select our next San Mateo County assessor-county clerk-recorder. During my career in local government, I had the opportunity to work closely with Jim Irizarry. I always found Jim to be an intelligent, hardworking and knowledgeable professional. These are attributes that he continues to exhibit today in his role as the assistant assessor-county clerk-recorder.  Â
Given the immense importance this position plays in supporting local governments, businesses and individuals throughout the county Jim Irizarry is clearly the best choice for our next assessor-county clerk-recorder.
