All Posey’s player moves have resulted in weak hitting and weak pitching, especially in the bullpen. Instead of addressing the problems by improvements to the pitching staff Posey has brought up two minor league prospects to improve the hitting. Bad move. An extra run here or there is not going to change box scores where the Giants can’t hold a lead. Shall I say it? Posey should be fired.

A proven baseball man, one who has managerial or front office experience should be brought in to replace Posey. Vitello should be fired and replaced by infield coach Ron Washington who has had success managing the Rangers. Bruce Bochy should be brought back and put into the front office, perhaps replacing Posey. A culture of winning should replace a guy who threw away a Hall of Fame career by retiring too early. He doesn’t know what it takes to win at baseball.

Posey has got to go and he has got to go as soon as possible. He is our Strait of Hormuz where Napoleon led his troops to die.
