“U.S. decided to repeatedly veto ceasefires in Gaza,” claims letter writer Mr. Caggiano. This is absolutely false. After two years of Hamas war upon Israel, President Trump has instituted a ceasefire and a path toward peace. But Caggiano promulgates an even more vile distortion of the truth: He claims America is sending weapons to Israel to “end children’s lives in that conflict.” Memo to Mr. Caggiano: There would be no “ending of children’s lives in Gaza” if Hamas and the people of Gaza had not joyously slaughtered and mutilated children in Israel on Oct. 7.
And the children of Gaza would be much healthier and much more alive, if Hamas did not use them as human shields in schools and mosques and hospitals.
Mr. Caggiano closes his letter with the words “my Bible is caught in the washer and spinning around in an unreadable condition.” That is exactly what Caggiano has done to the truth.
Thanks for your letter, Mr. Abramson, but since Mr. Caggiano purposefully won’t acknowledge Hamas’s attack on Israel, anything Mr. Caggiano writes can be immediately dismissed. Note now that thanks to the efforts by President Trump and supporting nations, including Israel, Mr. Caggiano must find a new “victim” to support. And likely, cherry-pick examples to support his easily debunked assertions.
