Ronald “Ronny” De Alba, born in San Francisco Dec. 30, 1958, died peacefully Jan. 12, 2019.
He is survived by his mother Mary; brothers Benjamin and Mark; nephews Justin and Jakob; and nieces; Isabella and Elizabeth. He is predeceased by his father Benjamin. He is further survived by many aunts, cousins and lifelong friends. Ronny grew up in Daly City, California. He attended Abraham Lincoln Elementary School, Ben Franklin Junior High and Serramonte High School.
He enjoyed his work at Joe’s of Westlake, Hyatt Corporation and as a journeymen carpenter. Ronny was a loving caretaker for his mother and a mentor to his nephews and nieces.
“He will be remembered most for his kind heart, selfless nature and the beautiful twinkle in his eyes. Ronny’s sweet soul will be missed by his loving family.”
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service, 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at Chapel of the Highlands, 194 Millwood Drive at El Camino Real in Millbrae. Reception to follow.
