John Lynch, born July 9, 1931 in San Francisco, the youngest of a large family, died June 2, 2018, at the age of 86.
He served as an Army Medic, earning the rank of sergeant. After many years in the grocery business, John returned to school becoming a longtime LVN at Sequoia Hospital. He was a devoted husband to Mary Jessie Lynch for 62 years. They lived in San Francisco and Petaluma but lived most of their lives in Redwood City. He was a devout Catholic and member of St. Pius Parish, Redwood City.
Mr. Lynch is survived by loving wife Mary; children Dennis Lynch, Lorena Heatley (Scott) and John C. Lynch; grandchildren Meghan, Kate, Erin, Kelley, Victoria and Lindsay; great-grandchildren Theodore, Ronan and Silas. He is also survived by too many beloved nieces and nephews to count.
