To The Editor, Hello and Happy Autumn. I would like to comment on the news story, "SLA Fugitive charged with endangering cops", Nov. 8, 2000. Police officers can be happy and grateful they are alive and well. It is important to teach people that it is cruel to live in and grieve about the past, complain about others, cause stress for ill people, force ill people to leave their homes, blame others for what happens to them, lock ill people up in jails, and separate mothers from their families. An ill person can learn to promote life, that it is cruel to use explosives, blame others, and cause stress for police officers. I am a Buddhist lay priest. It is fine to encourage mothers to seek support in the area where she lives. A mother can write a
letter of apology to police officers. It is cruel to label mothers, and make money off of ill mothers. People can learn to care about and help others. Ill mothers are not entertainment and therapy tools for courts.
