San Mateo police are on the lookout for someone involved in a hit-and-run crash in the area of 40th Avenue and Edison Street that sent a Belmont woman, 52, to the hospital Thursday morning.
At about 6:40 a.m. Nov. 15, police responded to the area on the report of a woman lying on the ground with a head injury. There was evidence she was struck by a car and she was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries, according to police.
