The public is invited to gather by the water this weekend and learn about San Mateo County’s local marinas, boating safety and environmental awareness as part of a national holiday.
The San Mateo County Harbor District will participate in the 2017 National Marina Day, Saturday, Aug. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pillar Point Harbor in Half Moon Bay, and Oyster Point Marina/Park in South San Francisco.
It’s the first time the countywide special district will host events for the annual holiday, and will educate the public on both Bayfront and coastside opportunities. Visit smharbor.com for more information.
