As summer draws to an end and the clock ticks toward a new year, cities across California are hustling to outline regulations on marijuana as the state is expected to start issuing commercial licenses in 2018.

Across San Mateo County, the coastside is becoming one of the more welcoming regions to commercial operations with marijuana cultivation rising to the top of possibilities.

People will subjected to breathing more second hand pot smoke and dodging more erratic drivers under the influence. Great, it's all good. But don't try controlling what you do on your own property! Oh, no! You better apply for a permit first which will cost you money and ultimately be denied! What a state.

Wasn't Debbie Ruddock the HMB mayor that nearly bankrupted the city ten years ago?.....

The city's illegal land use decision cost the city $19 million and the loss of their police department and other public services....I guess they are now coming back out of the woodwork....
