• The San Carlos Planning Commission will review proposal for the construction of a 162-room Hilton Garden Inn at a 1.6-acre site at 1091 Industrial Road. The two-story commercial building currently standing in the northeast corner of the intersection between Industrial Road and Brittan Avenue would be demolished to make way for the seven-story main building with four-story parking structure.
The commission meets 7 p.m. May 1, at City Hall, 600 Elm St.
