The Board of Directors of Provident Credit Union recently announced President and CEO Wayne Bunker is retiring February 2017 and James (Jim) Ernest, executive vice president of Provident Credit Union, will be his successor.
Bunker served as chair of the Board of Directors of the Credit Union Executives Society, as a director of FSCC (Shared Branch Network) and as a director of the San Mateo County Chamber of Commerce. In 2016, he was the recipient of the David D. Bohannon Award of Excellence from the San Mateo County Economic Development Association for outstanding contributions to the Bay Area community.
