The next time I go out for dinner I will be eating at Wursthall’s restaurant in San Mateo. I only hope their food is as good as their policies. Wursthall’s has set a policy that no one would be allowed to eat in their restaurant wearing a MAGA hat. After hearing all the arguments for and against this rule, it has become apparent that anyone wearing a MAGA hat is trying really hard to make a point and the owners of this restaurant have every right to disagree with that point. Eating out is supposed to be a pleasant experience and I choose to eat in a place where politics from either side is left outside. Thank you Wursthall.

Did you hear, there is a restaurant in San Mateo that is about to open that will refuse service to anyone wearing a Hillary shirt that says, “I’m with her” or an Obama hat that says “Hope”. It just became OK to discriminate now that the left is doing it and Trump is president. The social activist owner who made this decision will feel the full impact of his stupid business decision. As a red hat wearing Trump supporter this action does not make me angry in the slightest, but I am sure these two guys will soon wish they never opened their mouths and will live to regret their outspoken position.

So yet another TDS sufferer is exposed. One has to wonder how his partners feel about his decision. One has to wonder whether his restaurant will now undergo multiple surprise health inspections. One has to wonder whether someone will come in without wearing a MAGA hat, obtain their food, and then put on their MAGA hat. One has to wonder whether this partner-owner dares to eat out, especially if it's to a Trump-supporting chef. Maybe that's why the guy is eating crow and trying to walk back his insult. Maybe I'll meet Robert at Wursthall one of these days, wearing my MAGA hat.
Conway. You honestly did not and do not know that it is impolite for males to wear their hats, any type of hat, indoors? Unless the headwear is for religious reasons. Miss Manners? Wearing any hat, cap, fedora, etcetera in any restaurant or building is impolite and should be removed. Simple manners would stop all the controversy.
