I almost had a heart attack when I read the story about the community college district chancellor’s pay. Does anyone deserve to make $404,250 a year for managing three community colleges? Heck, I would do the job for $100,000 and save taxpayers and the district $300,000.
I would like to know the names of all the board members who voted for this contract and when their terms expire.
I would also like to know how much taxpayers and the state fund these three community colleges each year.
I sure hope there is greater oversight of the San Mateo County Community College District especially that the previous Chancellor Galatolo is being charged for 23 felonies.
And taxpayers, residents, students and people on fixed incomes, where is the outrage?
Any interest in a recall of board members?
