Rey Palacios, of San Carlos, died Oct. 29, 2015. He was born May 18, 1939, to Salvador and Agnes Palacios in San Antonio, Texas. His parents, two sisters and four brothers preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister Elizabeth Emerson, brother Ralph Palacios along with many nieces, nephews and a host of other loving family members and friends.
He loved flying which fit in with his free spirit and his career with United Airlines. When his military service ended with the Air Force, he started living in the San Francisco area which quickly became home to him. He rarely missed any type of family function or class reunion no matter what it took for him to get there. His many antics endeared him to all.
Rey will be laid to rest at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas, 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2015.
In lieu of flowers, the family request remembrances be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
