Nancy Franusich Parry, age 89, of Rocklin, California, born Nov. 18, 1929, died suddenly Dec. 6, 2018, with many of her family members by her side. Nancy was born in November of 1929 in South San Francisco.
Her husband Bill and only son Ray preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother Roy, daughters Teresa, Susan, Linda, Karen, Janice, Jayne and Nancy; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren with the 12th arriving in February.
“She was a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.”
Nancy grew up in San Bruno, California, and graduated from Mercy High School — Burlingame class of 1947. She was a hard worker and at the time of her retirement she had worked her way up to the director of marketing for Patelco Credit Union in San Francisco. Nancy was instrumental in starting the Delancey Street Credit Union in San Francisco to help others improve their lives.
Nancy was known for her kindness, friendship, love of entertaining, card playing, cooking and her feisty sense of humor. Nancy was a beautiful woman who will be forever remembered by her family, extended family and dear friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place next year.
