Melinda Frank, a long-time resident of San Mateo, died on February 9, 2019 at the age of 62. She was the beloved daughter of the late Dr. Melvin and Jean Frank; dear sister of Cheryl Frank Dutton (and her husband, Michael) and the late Susanne Frank; loving aunt of Ryan and Olivia Dutton; and dear God-mother of Christian Lawton. Melinda was born in San Francisco on July 4, 1956. She was a 1974 graduate of San Mateo High School, and graduated the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s degree and then a Master’s in Business Administration. She also attained a Certified Public Accountant credential. Melinda was an avid USC fan and active in the Alumni Association. Ever adventurous, she lived in New York City for nine years, enjoying all Manhattan has to offer. She loved being active and worked for many years as a Personal Fitness Trainer, was active in the tennis community at Woodlake in San Mateo, and loved running, skiing, hiking, and travel which led to her successful climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

The family is arranging a private memorial.
