Jerry Greenberg Photo

Gerald (Jerry) S. Greenberg died on June 24, 2026. Born October 6, 1941, into a less-than-ideal home, Jerry and his adored brother (and partner in puns) found love and security visiting the home of their Uncle Max and his partner, Joey.

He was a proud alum of Erasmus Hall High School, which provided him the rare opportunity to work with the ENIAC (generally considered the first computer) while still a student. This led to his lifelong passion for computer science. He graduated from Brooklyn College with a BS in electrical engineering and earned an MS (ABD) in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania. He began as a systems analyst at the NYSE and retired as a CEO.
