as dean of the School of Education and Leadership
Notre Dame de Namur University announced Thursday the appointment of Caryl K. Hodges as dean of the School of Education and Leadership, effective July 1. She succeeds Joanne Rossi, who will return to the School of Education faculty after having served as dean since 2005.
Hodges comes to NDNU from the University of San Francisco, where she was most recently associate dean of the School of Education and an assistant professor in the Teacher Education Program.
Hodges has more than 30 years experience in teaching and administration ranging from the early childhood to graduate levels. Hodges holds an Ed.D. in international and multicultural education from the University of San Francisco. She received her master of arts in curriculum, teaching and learning from Sonoma State University.
