From left, Kitty (Kushi Beauchamp), Georgiana (Emily Ota), Mary (Maria Marquis), Lizzy (Amanda Pulcini) and Jane (Monique Hafen Adams) reunite for the holidays in TheatreWorks Silicon Valley’s ‘Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley.’
TheatreWorks Silicon Valley is staging a Jane Austen-inspired romance, “Georgiana and Kitty: Christmas at Pemberley,” through Dec. 28, at the Lucie Stern Theatre, 1305 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.
Written by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon, this is the third in a series based on Austen’s “Pride and Prejudice” characters and focused on holiday events and adventures at an English estate during the Regency era.
The first two were “The Wickhams” and “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley,” also successfully staged by TheatreWorks.
Directed by artistic director Giovanna Sardelli, this play focuses on Mr. Darcy’s sister, pianist Georgiana, along with one of the younger Bennet sisters, Kitty.
Tickets are available by calling (877) 662-8978 or visiting theatreworks.org.
