Two people were arrested on suspicion of a home burglary in Woodside, the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said Monday.
On June 15, a resident reported a burglary that had occurred two days prior at their home on the 2100 block of Greenways Drive in Woodside.
Security footage showed two people entering the property's garage and rifling through items. An alarm system activates and the suspects fled the scene, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Investigators were able to identify the license plate of the fleeing vehicle and located it on June 16 in the area of Twin Dolphin Drive in Redwood City.
Deputies arrested Redwood City residents Casey Smithart, 37, and Daniel Chisholm, 46, on suspicion of residential burglary.
