Menlo-Atherton and Serra will headline boys’ Division I, while Woodside is the county’s lone representative in girls’ Division I, as the Central Coast Section soccer brackets were announced Thursday evening.

Both M-A and Serra have earned two CCS boys’ championships all-time. Undefeated M-A (15-0-4) earned the No. 4 seed in this year’s eight-team Division I bracket, and will host No. 5 Westmont in Saturday’s playoff opener at 7 p.m. The Bears’ last CCS title came in 1993-94 in Division II. They previously played in the Division I finals just once, a 3-1 loss to Watsonville in 2011-12. Serra’s two CCS titles were both in Division II, in 2013-14 and 2016-17. The Padres (12-5-3) are seeded No. 6 this year, and will travel Saturday to No. 3 Everett Alvarez for an 11 a.m. start.
