Judge Quentin Kopp’s opinion piece “The Cow Palace land grab that is Senate Bill 281” in the April 30 edition of the Daily Journal says it all. I would like to add just one more thing. State Sen. Scott Wiener, D-San Francisco, and his ilk just love to make gun and ammunition sale difficult for law abiding, legal gun-owning citizens.
However, they have no problem with their sanctuary law, protecting illegal immigrant criminals and letting them out on the street instead of having them deported. Wiener and his super majority care less about the safety of the citizens they are supposed to represent and protect than about illegal immigrant criminals who one day may vote for them. A super-majority in government breeds super-arrogance, super-corruption, super-thieves and super-hypocrites. Welcome to Sacramento, welcome to the super-majority democratic government.
