Please contact your state representatives to object to Assembly Bill 569. This bill would undo the pension reform legislation from 2012 that reined in high pension costs that bankrupted some cities. It only applies to public employees. The author and the Teamsters say these workers do not have sufficient pension benefits to offset California’s high cost of living.

So many pensioners move out of state when they retire. Not in favor of increasing benefits. The State should add a fee or tax to benefits that are paid to recipients who move out of state.
