Editor,

For the cost of the Artemis moon mission, the United States could put a dent in the chronic homelessness in the nation.

Steve, I definitely like you "thinking" on this. While we all applaud the safe return of this brave crew to the moon, you have a super point in that there is just so much that needs direct attention and the requisite cash to make our world a safer and more humane place. I would first start with the madness of King Donald and his one and a half trillion dollar wish list for of all things PENTAGON!! What we do need as a real boost to the diplomatic core, where we can realize that we don't own or should own the world. We have to get back to moral and intelligent behavior not the bullying that certainly did not start with the present oval office resident. We can't blame him for everything. We've been on this "power high" for many decades. The difference is that now we're broke. Humility is a great and underutilized concept.

Cheers all, Mike C.

Steve - $93 million? That is a fraction of the money already being wasted on the homeless, just in California. Artemis provides for thousands of jobs and pushes our brainy folks to the highest bar ever. These same folks pay income and sales taxes and in turn finance the sloppy government agencies who have no qualms about waste and fraud.

Maybe California's missing $24 billion in homeless spending was accidentally spent by the Artemis II mission. LAHSA could be mistaken for NASA. Someone needs to go check the receipts.

For many reasons we have to match China's bid to occupy the moon. It's up to the cities and states who are much closer to the problem to take care of the homeless.

Like I've said before - we get absolutely zero ROI for paying half our salary in taxes. If the USA was my business partner - I would have sued them years ago. Unfortunately, homelessness is big business and will never be fixed. That was the whole premise Greasy Gavin Newsome ran on - and look where we are now - much worse - all by design. America is just one giant milking corrupt machine for elites and their subordinates who have sold their souls to play the game - and we are the resources. Just like in The Matrix movie - they get their energy from our ignorance. Money is just a tool - the true power is in your mind. Us millennials born in the 80s and the boomers who actually have inside information about the system are the only people with their eyes open. Behold a Pale Horse by Bill Cooper anyone? Donald Trump is the most easily black-mailable person on earth. Thats why he is president - it might not seem like it - but he does exactly what he is told - he just gets to do it with his own "flavor". He was up to his ears in Epstein - lookup a 13 year old girl named Katie Johnson who Trump assaulted. That is real. If you want to know the truth about all that stuff I suggest your read the books Thanks for the Memories by Brice Taylor and Tranceformation of America by Cathy O'Brien. Its hard to have a relevant opinion on anything of substance when you dont know who and what governs your daily life. And its not politics. Its not "Left vs Right" - these social engineers have you people so tribally programed that you will believe any shadow thats painted in front of you. Everyone loves that dopamine hit rooting against some enemy you are told has wronged you. "Democrats and Republicans" are two wings of the same bird. The smartest people around still believe in "government incompetence." Thats not a thing. These people are very smart and calculating and know exactly how they are bamboozling all of us - decades in advance. Also "voting" - that doesnt matter and is an illusion - and believing in that paradigm in 2026 is incredibly childish. These Oligarchs put two absolute LOSERS in front of us and make us fight over trying to rationalize either one of them. I could go to PETCO and find a better president than Kamala of Drumpf. Yea - thats his real last name. Also everyone should read the book The Creature from Jekyll Island by G. Edward Griffin and Eustace Mullins talk called "The Magical Money Machine" - you would then understand what money is - who created it - who benefits from its existence - and why they decide to control it - and also why the Titanic "disaster" happened. Because every person who had clout and was against the federal reserve was on that boat. Also - dont even get me started on "space and NASA". They are paid to lie to us about everything regarding the Interstellar. "Aliens" are not real the way they tell us - there are fallen angels and demons - but Aliens are not real. All UFOs are made by humans. If you have not looked yourself in the mirror and admitted that everything you were every told as a child was a complete lie and that your parents were not smart - that time is long overdue. I just educated all of you more in 5 minutes - than the 20 years you spent in slave school - in Plato's Cave.

CA Is Burning

Steve, I have a suggestion which costs nothing. Open your door to one homeless family ( and maybe one illegal immigrant family as well). If every bleeding heart democrat did the same, homelessness would end almost overnight. The reality is , you will not do it, and the people who think like you will not do it, you’re all talk, no action.
