I asked if this week's verdict in NY was a part of what you believe is a corrupt judicial system. No twisting. I'm guessing you laud the court decisions you find satisfactory... like key lime pie... but those you don't like... brussel sprouts... must come from the corrupt courts.

Jorg - regardless of who was the (p)resident, the DOJ and the State Dept have been corrupt for as long as they have existed. I believe the only, and last, honest DA around here is our Mr. Wagstaffe, unfortunately a dying breed.

Please explain what part of Trump's trial was "illegal"...BTW, no one in their "right mind" would continue to scream "fraud", "rigged" etc. after they have lost an election and after numerous recounts had verified results, to say nothing of the minions who believe that garbage.

FFGig - having been a jury foreman and served on several local and federal juries, I am not convinced that the judicial system is anywhere as flawless as most believe. The movie " Twelve Angry Men" sums this is up well as it takes at least one member to stand up to the general preconception of the guilty party. Most jury members just want to go home and get it over with. If at least one such a jury member with character is not present, a verdict is reached without much discussion. I had to play that role once, and let me tell you, it was brutal. No, I did not respect the outcome of Simpson trial and the biased roles the jury played. I am not denigrating the judicial system but as an American citizen I am allowed to question its validity. The Trump trial begs for an appeal which will overturn the severely compromised decision by the jury that was instructed by a compromised judge.

Try NO crime, NO due process, NO standing for federal election fraud, a conflicted biased judge Merchen who donated to Biden's campaign which is 100% illegal, Merchen's daughter did as well, Soros paid for prosecutor Bragg who ran on attacking Trump, Manhattan jury which is not a jury of Trump's peers (A jury of one's peers today in the United States refers to the right to a trial by an impartial jury chosen from a cross-section of the community. The Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees this right.)

Hey! It's not Sunday yet...

My wife and I wandered up to CSM this afternoon to enjoy Jazz on the Hill. A community jazz concert event hosted by the college, KCSM and... drumroll please... the Daily Journal! It was very special. Bay Area jazz icon Mary Stallings sang and was awarded CSM's Icon Award at the end of her set. Like I said... very special. What's this got to do with May 30? It proves life goes on.

Ray: Intentional or not, I could take “praying for me” as an insult to my intelligence! However, do you really think that praying for something or someone works? Who would be listening? And why didn’t he, she or it listen to all the praying for Holocaust and other horrible massacres, and do something about it? What possible evidence do you have? Not sure why anyone would find well wishes… even in the form of a prayer… to be an insult. Your questions have been answered (in some cases more than once). For this latest round of queries… Yes, God, He did, history, no.

I am being treated/followed for three different cancers. I attend a cancer survivor group a couple of times a month at a local church. Everyone in the group has experienced some combination of surgery, chemo, radiation, and immunotherapy but prayer brings a powerful healing element to the group… individually and collectively.

Today, I’ll go fishing just like it says in Matthew 4:19. Have a great Sunday and even greater week.
