Editor,

If the Belmont City Council seeks to provide the good life, let them start by repairing the pot holes in the city streets (“Belmont setting goals to bring up the quality of life” in the May 31 Daily Journal). The roads are disgraceful.

Wonderful news! Belmont voters passed Measure I in 2016 to dedicate funds for road improvements and if you log in to the the city's website, you can see the roads that are being improved in 2023. Just click on the link for Public Works projects.

Ralston ave both east and west is a lost cause . One pot hole gets fixed and 3 more appear.

You can bet on the city of Belmont subbing out some portion of Ralston ave to bidders who will then begin work as school returns.

That's a guarantee.
