Acosta for South San Francisco city clerk

While both have solid qualifications, one has more experience in the field and would better hit the ground running — Rosa Acosta.

Acosta is the current city clerk for the small city of Pinole, has elected official experience as a member of the South San Francisco Unified School District Board of Trustees and has worked in the City Manager’s Office. That trio of experience will give the city its best choice for the job. She is familiar with the surroundings and can immediately begin to find efficiencies in continuing to modernize the office.

Her fellow candidate, Caitline Bortoli, has experience working for the city as a code inspector and could also offer new ideas. However, experience in the field counts in this particular position which acts not only as a liasion between the city and the public but also acts as the administrator for the City Council.

Acosta is the best choice.
