Violet Exline-Ross

Violet Exline-Ross, 89, died peacefully at home in Burlingame on March 9, 2019, with friends and family by her side. Violet was born to the late Alexander and Annie Bedu in London, England, on June 1, 1929, and was the youngest of seven siblings. She survived the German bombing of London in 1940-41 during World War II.

After the war, Violet moved to San Francisco where she met her first husband, the late John Jacob Exline and had five children; John, Jennifer, Anne, Alex and Mari. John tragically died in 1973. Vi eventually remarried Dr. Bernard Allen Ross. Bernie and Vi loved to travel, buy and sell antiques, spend time with their friends and family and entertain with the biggest and best parties imaginable.
