Amit Chatterjee, age 46, of San Carlos, California, died unexpectedly Oct. 25, 2018. Amit was born in Hartford, Connecticut, Jan. 10, 1972.
He lived six years of his youth in Memphis, Tennessee, then moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, growing up in Morgan Hill and residing in San Carlos for most of his life.
Amit attended Bellarmine College Preparatory for high school and attended the University of California, Berkeley, and Stanford University. He was married to Lorena Chatterjee in 1999.
Amit was most recently chief executive officer of Open Systems, headquartered in Switzerland. He previously held executive positions at CA Technologies, SAP and McKinsey & Co. and launched four startups. He was on the Board of Directors of several technology companies.
“Through all his professional accolades, Amit remained humble, deeply rooted in his belief in God, and unrelenting love for his family. Amit is survived by his beloved wife Lorena, his spirited boys Connor and Brandon, his devoted brother Sumit and his loving parents Mavis and Shekhar. He will forever be in our hearts and memories.”
Memorial Services were held Nov. 3, at St. Charles Church in San Carlos.
