Pacifica officers arrested a 64-year-old woman after she crashed into a parked car over the weekend while allegedly intoxicated, according to police.
Around 8:35 p.m. Saturday, officers were alerted to a report of a traffic collision in the area of Alicante Drive and Linda Mar Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found a silver Toyota sedan that crashed into a parked vehicle.
The driver of the Toyota, a San Francisco resident, reportedly showed symptoms of alcohol intoxication so an officer initiated an investigation and administered sobriety tests. The officer later confirmed that she was intoxicated.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08% or greater. She was transported to a local sobering facility and was later released on a criminal citation.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Pacifica Police Department at (650) 738- 7314, or the tip line at (650) 359- 4444 and refer to case No. 24-2405.
