Where criminologists fight crime

Looking for a spooky adventure? Curious about the science behind solving crimes? Then check out the Halloween-themed tour led by experts at the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office and Sheriff’s Office Forensic Laboratory today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Visitors will get an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the facilities where real-life crime solvers test for DNA as well as fingerprints, investigate firearms and analyze toxicology reports. Guests will have an opportunity to ask questions and even try to solve a mock crime scene.
