A fired employee refused to leave the kitchen on South B Street in San Mateo, it was reported at 5:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
San Mateo
Disturbance. Two people were reported to be fighting on a balcony on East Third Avenue and throwing things off the balcony, it was reported at 3:42 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5.
Auto burglary. A black Honda Civic was broken into at Pacific Boulevard and East 38th Avenue, it was reported at 2:11 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5.
Welfare check. Someone called the police to make a report “about his clothes,” but does not sound all there. Would not elaborate, it was reported on Gum Street and Leslie Avenue at 2:58 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5.
Suspicious vehicle. A dark sports car with large spoiler and no muffler blew through a stop sign and has been driving back and forth in the area on South Fremont Street, it was reported at 9:49 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
Disturbance. A postal service worker reported he tried to deliver a certified letter on East Grant Place when the person who answered the door failed to sign the keypad and slammed the door, it was reported at 2:34 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
Loud music. Two people were in the carport area playing loud music and drinking on La Selva Court at 5:44 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
Auto vandalism. Someone called to say his neighbor walked by his vehicle on La Selva Court when he was sitting inside and bumped it with something in his jacket. He tried to talk to the neighbor but the neighbor refused, it was reported at 8:35 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
Auto burglary. A car had its window smashed and property was taken on East Fourth Avenue, it was reported at 7:58 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3.
