Lynn Giles, 58, of Burlingame passed away in his sleep at home Sept. 6, 2007. Giles was a lifelong musician; drummer, singer and multi-instrumentalist. He cut hair at Great Cuts in San Mateo for nearly 30 years.
Giles was the son of the late Grady and Bonita Giles of San Bruno.
He is survived by his wife, Naomi, brother Loren Giles, sisters Vicki Granelli and Lisa Giles, nieces Susan Trester, Raelynn Dodlesky and CB Giles, nephews Mike, Eric and Mikey Giles, their families and a circle of extended family. An informal celebration of his life will be held 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at B St. Music, 245 S. Railroad Blvd., San Mateo.

Eileen Ann Starkie, 44, of Millbrae, passed away suddenly Sept. 22, 2007 at home.

Starkie was born June 17, 1963.
She was the beloved daughter of Jasper G. and (preceded in death by) Eileen E. Starkie.
She was the beeloved sister of David J. Starkie, Dell (Robin) Freeman,
and Nancy Machado and loving aunt of Nicole (Steven) Watson, Danielle (Dennis) Molloy, Brett (Chianna) Freeman, Julie (Richie) Sullivan,and Michael, Brian and Lindsey Machado. She was the dear great-aunt of Jacob, Gabriel, Breanna Freeman and Jackson Molloy, beloved niece of Patt Hoff and Robert Eustace (Charlotte) and cousin to many.
There will be a private inurnment for relatives and close friends at Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma. Contributions made to the American
Lung Association or the Peninsula Humane Society are appreciated.
