Foster City is set to modernize its design guidelines, policies and zoning code regulations into one comprehensive document, while also streamlining the permitting process for homeowners.
Community members are encouraged to learn more about the effort to update Foster City Single- and Two-Family Objective Design and Development Standards. The updated design standards will establish clear and consistent expectations for high-quality design.
• Webinars: The city is offering virtual discussions noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, and Tuesday, Oct. 7, on Zoom by visiting fostercity.org/ODDSwebinar or by calling (669) 900-6833 or (408) 638-0968 and entering the meeting ID code: 836 7595 1212, with passcode: 94404.
• Open houses: City staff will be available to discuss this issue in person in the Council Chambers, 620 Foster City Blvd., 5:30-6:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 13, and Tuesday, Oct. 21.
• Pop up events: Staff will attend the following Off the Grid events in Leo Ryan Park 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, and Oct. 8. Â
