Caltrain is seeking four riders to apply for its Bicycle & Active Transportation Advisory Committee, which serves to gather the interests and perspectives of customers who primarily bicycle, scooter or use other related modes of transportation to access to the Caltrain system into the planning processes.
The openings are for:
• One representative of a public agency from San Francisco County;
• One public agency representative from San Mateo County;
• One bicycle advocacy group representative from San Mateo County; and
Recommended for you
• One member of the general public from Santa Clara County.
The committee is comprised of nine volunteer members from San Francisco, San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. One member from each county is a public agency staff member responsible for planning and/or policy development related to transportation, one is a member of a bicycle advocacy organization and one is a member from the general public who uses Caltrain.
Applications are due by Friday, Jan. 2, and are available at www.caltrain.com/batac or by calling (650) 508-6391.
The BATAC meets every other month at 5:45 p.m. All meetings are open to the public.
