An Oakland man was arrested by San Mateo Sheriff’s deputies after a gunman held up a 7-Eleven store in Millbrae on Friday afternoon.
Sergio Williams, 34, was accused of first-degree robbery, the sheriff’s department said Saturday. Deputies were dispatched about 2:15 p.m. to the 7-Eleven at 401 El Camino Real, where they were told a robbery involving a handgun had just occurred. Williams was located and the victim confirmed his involvement in the robbery, the sheriff’s department said.
Williams was taken to Maguire Correctional Facility and held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
