The FBI is looking for a serial bank robber they’ve nicknamed the “Big Man Bandit” who hit banks in San Jose and San Mateo in a span of a week in March.

The suspect robbed banks in San Jose on March 15 and in San Mateo on March 17 and March 23. In each robbery, he handed the teller a note that demanded money and stated he had a gun, FBI officials said.

The suspect is described as a white man who is about 6 feet tall with a large build and weighs around 300 pounds. He has been described as wearing an Oakland Raiders or Golden State Warriors ball cap, a light sweater or jacket and jeans in each robbery.
The bandit’s vehicle is believed to be a four-door Cadillac Seville with a model year from the mid- to late-1990s, according to the FBI.
