This week's topic — elimination. That's our nice way of saying poop. I have two tips for the "back of the house business." One, if you use clumping litter for your kitty as many owners do, groom her frequently to remove, um, particles that may accumulate in that region and interfere with elimination. You can check your cat's rear from now until she's used her nine lives, and I bet you'll never found what I did one day. Cooper snuck one or two Hershey kisses off my Mom's coffee table (shame on me for not proofing her place!), and thought he covered his tracks. Well, a few hours later, we saw the smoking gun. Know the little white paper that comes out the top of each foil-wrapped Hershey's kiss? Let's just say that Coop's rear end advertised his wrongdoing. A little Hershey's kiss "flag" clearly announced his guilt. There, now you'll never think of those little chocolates the same. Back to the tips. Tip # 2 for your kitty. Cats may not enjoy being bathed, but they do love moving water. Boys, keep that toilet lid closed!

You might see Scott and his companion, Cooper around town. In addition to working for and representing PHS/SPCA, they also volunteer at the Magnolia Center in Burlingame.
