Bonito is a 9-year-old ex-racing pigeon looking for his forever family. He is happily retired from his racing days. In this photo, he’s pulled up to his feeding dish, arm rested on the side, chest slightly flexed, not unlike a proud retired NASCAR race-car driver might lean against the bar at his local watering hole. Bonito would be great for a first-time pigeon family. You could also bring him home with one of his current coop-mates. His ideal enclosure would be an indoor flight cage or outdoor aviary with plenty of space to spread his wings. Do you want to create a space for Bonito to live out his golden years in luxury? He would love to spend his retirement days relaxing with you. Stop by Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA to meet Bonito ID# A967912 or call (650) 340-7022 to schedule an appointment.
