Menlo-Atherton 4, Mills 3
M-A (3-5 PAL Bay, 4-7 overall) swept through doubles play on its home court, but in was No. 4 single Cubby Derrough who clinched the key PAL Bay Division victory with a 6-2, 3-6, 10-4 win over Neel Ranji. Mills (3-6, 3-6) earned wins from No. 1 single Ethan Liu, No. 2 Aiden Hsiao and No. 3 Aiden Young. The Bears didn’t drop a set in doubles play, with No. 1 doubles Thomas Greenleaf and Rafa Kroes winning 6-1, 6-0; No. 2s Yooni Bae and Max Weiss winning 6-0, 6-0; and No. 3s Connor Bae and Raphael Pierres winning 6-2, 6-1.
Burlingame 6, San Mateo 1
Burlingame No. 1 single Kaden Lam and No. 2 Noah Chiang each rallied back as the Panthers (6-2 PAL Bay, 6-2 overall) won at San Mateo (0-9, 5-9). Lan won 5-7, 6-3, 10-3 over Dylan Chua; while Chiang defeated Atul Anand 1-6, 6-4, 10-6; and No. 3 Collin Phonsombat won 6-4, 7-6(5). The Bearcats earned their only win from No. 4 single Vishesh Kodisvaran 6-1, 7-5.
Carlmont 7, Woodside 0
The Scots (8-1 PAL Bay, 9-1 overall) swept at home against Woodside (2-7, 3-7), paced by No. 1 Lucas Rowe’s 6-1, 7-5 victory. No. 4 single Daniel Jiang held on to defeat Christian Toothman 6-4, 4-6 ,10-6. No. 1 doubles Filip Pejakovic and Aaroha Save rallied back to defeat Quinlan Gudedelhoefer/Kamran Zamanian 4-6, 6-1, 10-8.
Hillsdale 5, Sequoia 2
Hillsdale (7-0 PAL Ocean, 8-4 overall) dropped matches at No. 1 singles and doubles, but won the day with sweeps from No. 2 single Clayton Bogan, No. 3 Tyler Cheng and No. 4 Lucas Ku. Sequoia No. 1 single Ethan Khaw cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 victory, while No. 1 doubles Karim Khanna and Ethan Kell bounced back to down Hillsdale’s Leon Zhou and Mathias Gerber 2-6, 6-2, 10-6.

Half Moon Bay (5-2 PAL Ocean) rode a quick sweep from No. 1 doubles Rowan Melton and Tractor Forster to a 5-2 victory at Oceana (2-5).
El Camino (2-5 PAL Ocean) swept 7-0 at Capuchino (0-7), with No. 2 single Jarius Orias holding out for a 7-5, 6-7, 12-10 victory over Javier Vasquez, and No. 2 doubles Diego Chavez and Mateo DeMesa defeating Jose Campos and Javi Barrios 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.
Boys’ lacrosse
Menlo-Atherton 8, Burlingame 2
The Bears (2-0 PAL Bay, 3-4 overall) jumped out to a 5-1 first-quarter lead and never looked back in a home win over Burlingame (2-2, 3-4). Bruno Szollar led the way with three goals for M-A, while Carey Wolf and Matthew Sanford added two goals apiece. Jason Jajeh and Jack Clarke each scored for the Panthers.
Woodside 6, Hillsdale 3
Liam Carver scored a hat trick to led Woodside (2-1 PAL Ocean, 6-1 overall) to the home win over Hillsdale (2-1, 3-6). Jack Brooks and Aiden Olson each added goals for the Wildcats. Tristen Gullo scored all three goals for Hillsdale.

Sequoia (3-0 PAL Ocean, 6-2 overall) claimed an 8-1 win at Aragon (0-3, 1-4).
Sacred Heart Prep (3-0 WCAL, 4-2 overall) rolled to a 14-3 win at Bellarmine-San Jose (1-2, 4-3).

After opening the year by winning eight straight, Burlingame (5-1 WBAL Skyline, 10-1 overall) started a new streak by earning its second straight win at home over Castilleja (3-3, 4-4). The Panthers remain in a three-way tie atop the WBAL Skyline Division with Hillsdale and Mitty.

Sacred Heart Prep (7-0) stayed unbeaten with an 18-3 non-league home win over Amador Valley (7-4).
Carlmont (0-4 WBAL Skyline, 0-5 overall) fell 17-3 at home to Mitty (5-1, 6-4).

Carlmont 21, Westmoor 9
The Scots (7-0 PAL Bay) ruled doubles play at Westmoor (4-2), with boys’ doubles Bryant Hu and Morgant Li winning 21-14, 21-18; girls’ doubles Belmira Long and Kimberly Gao winning 21-14, 21-8; and mixed doubles Ian Shi and Karena Ling winning 21-12, 21-17. Westmoor first boys’ single Kido Phan won 21-10, 21-14.
Aragon 20, South San Francisco 10
First boys’ single Jayden Leo and first girls’ single Allison Hsu led the Dons (5-2 PAL Bay) to the win at South City (1-5). Girls’ doubles Ashley Lau and Chloe Wong earned a win for the Warriors.
El Camino 25, Terra Nova 5
Fueled by a 16-21, 21-12, 21-18 comeback by boys’ doubles Jaydin Lau and Zachery Fung, El Camino (6-0 PAL Ocean) claimed the win at Terra Nova (2-4). Boys’ single Darren Theiu also went to three sets, outlasting Anthony Vintero 21-18, 18-21, 22-20.
Capuchino 21, Sequoia 9
Boys’ doubles Nathan Hernando and Prime Capiz rallied for a 14-21, 21-16, 21-15 comeback to lead Capuchino (5-0 PAL Ocean) to the win at Sequoia. Sequoia first boys’ single Tav Gur earned a 23-21, 18-21, 23-21 win over Ivan Zhu.

Menlo-Atherton (3-4 PAL Bay) earned an 18-12 home win over San Mateo (2-5).
Burlingame (5-2 PAL Bay) rolled 29-1 at Mills (0-7).
