Burlingame 6, Hillsdale 1
The Panthers cruised past the Knights to stay in a logjam atop the Bay Division standings.
Burlingame (8-1 PAL Bay, 8-1 overall), Aragon and Menlo-Atherton all have one loss in Bay play. Tuesday’s win gives the Panthers a game lead in the win column.
Two of the matches went three sets with the teams splitting them. Burlingame’s Noah Chiang, playing at No. 1 singles, beat Hillsdale’s Ameer Bababo 2-6, 6-2, 10-4. At No. 2 doubles, Hillsdale’s Lucas Ku and Leon Zhao topped Colin Phomsombat and Spener Phomsombat 5-7, 6-4, 10-4.
Aragon 7, San Mateo 0
The Dons kept pace with Burlingame by sweeping the Bearcats
Veraaz Khan and Keiya Wada, playing at No. 2 and and No. 4 single respectively for Aragon (7-1 PAL Bay, 8-1 overall), both won their matches 6-1, 6-0. Jack He and Thomas Nie, playing at No. 1 doubles, also lost only one game in a 6-1, 6-0 victory.
San Mateo falls to 4-4 in Bay play and 5-4 overall.
Mills 7, El Camino 0
The Vikings maintained their two-game lead atop the Ocean Division standings by shutting out the Colts in dominating fashion.
Mills (8-0 PAL Ocean) lost a total of five games across five matches played. El Camino (1-9) forfeited at No. 4 singles and No. 3 doubles.
Neel Ranji, at No. 2 singles, along with the No. 1 doubles team of Nicholas Chang and Jorian Cheung both won their matches at love — 6-0, 6-0.
Half Moon Bay 7, Capuchino 0
The Cougars stayed within striking distance of first-place Mills with the sweep of the Mustangs, three coming via Capuchino forfeits.
Jack Sprackle and Julien Kovan both won their singles matches, 6-0, 6-2. Egan Goldsmith and Jackson Oliver won their No. 1 doubles match 6-0, 6-1.
Boys’ volleyball
San Mateo 3, Mills 1
Aaron Guo was on fire as he helped led the Bearcats to the 25-22, 25-22, 23-25, 25-11 win over the Vikings.
Guo had 21 kills on 31 swings — a 68% success rate. He also had 10 digs and four service aces. Marcus Kim added 18 kills and Param Adda swung at 50% with 10 kills on 20 attempts. Eliott Kim added 13 digs while setter Grant Greenburg pumped out 50 assists.
In other action ...
Balboa (15-8) swept Westmoor (2-3), 25-15, 25-21, 25-18.

Boys’ lacrosse
Priory 15, Aragon 0
The Panthers rolled past the Dons in a PAL Ocean Division match.
Priory (4-0 PAL Ocean) led 3-0 after the first quarter and 8-0 at halftime before adding seven second-half goals. Jake Drogin led the way with four goals for the Panthers, while Matt Ruff and Michael Ruff added two goals apiece.
Aragon falls to 0-4 on the season.
Burlingame 13, Hillsdale 10
The Panthers scored six goals in the first period and then held on to beat the Knights.
Burlingame (3-1 PAL Bay, 6-1 overall) led 6-0 after the first period, but Hillsdale (1-3, 5-5) outscored the Panthers 4-3 in the second to trail 9-4 at halftime.
The Knights outscored Burlingame 6-4 in the second half.
Josh Bernard led the Hillsdale attack with four goals and two assists. Charlie Aguirre added a hat trick and assisted on a fourth goal, while Anthony Vause had two goals and two assists for the Knights.

Corona Del Mar-Newport Beach (10-3) doubled up Menlo School (3-7), 14-7.
Boys’ golf
Capuchino 292, South City 301
The Mustangs and Warriors took a step up in course caliber, taking on the front 9 at Green Hills Country Club, with Capuchino securing the Ocean Division victory.
Capuchino was led by Julian Hashimoto, who carded a 53. Dean Bautista had a 55 and CJ Scerri a 56 for the Mustangs.
South City’s Joseph Preciado took low-round honors, posting a 49. Joshua Gunardi had a 58 for the Warriors.
