College of San Mateo softball won four games in three days to extend its winning streak to eight games to start the season, capped by Saturday’s doubleheader sweep.

The Lady Bulldogs (8-0) opened Saturday’s twin bill with an 11-3 win over Feather River, before rallying for a 4-2 win over Sacramento City. CSM’s battery enjoyed a big showing in the Feather River victory. Freshman pitcher Lola Sierra allowed three runs on five hits to earn the complete-game victory in the mercy-rule win. Sierra’s pitching record improves to 4-0, while she added a single with an RBI at the plate. CSM catcher Love Cabanas went 3 for 3 with a home run and five RBIs in the contest.
