3:28 p.m. A report said that in a possible identity theft more than $7,500 was stolen through wire transfers and counterfeit checks.
6:21 p.m. 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Sometime between 10 a.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday a 1994 black Volkswagen Golf was vandalized. According to a police report, its right rear tire was slashed and a potato was wedged in the tail pipe.

9:26 a.m. 1800 block of Rollins Road. A car was stolen from Daly City was found in a Burlingame parking lot with its tires missing.
12:25 p.m. 480 Primrose Rd. Burlingame Public Library. A report said an unknown man lifted up a girl's skirt in the children's section of the library. Police said the suspect was a black man, in his 30s, about 5 foot 6 inches and of medium build. He was wearing black clothes and a black San Francisco Giants hat. He may be mentally handicapped.

8:07 a.m. 5300 block of Shelter Creek Lane. Grand theft. Four alloy rims were stolen off a Nissan Maxima between 7:45 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.

7:11 a.m. 2600 block of Read Avenue. Residential burglary. While a man was sleeping upstairs, his house was broken into and a laptop computer and several items were stolen. <
