Editor,
Swalwell is out. April 14 and 15 poll results are in.
Heading into the June primary for California governor, two Republican candidates lead.
Xavier Becerra has gained 15 percentage points among Democratic voters, as per polling data reported April 16 by Emerson College Polling & Inside California Politics Survey.
Democrats now split their vote between Tom Steyer (20%), Xavier Becerra (19%), and Katie Porter (15%).
Matt Mahan trails with less than 6%.
Only these six candidates, polling over 5%, will be invited to the next scheduled debate, this Wednesday, April 22.
However, 23% of surveyed voters still tell pollsters that they are undecided.
It’s time to get down from the fence, folks. Primary ballots will be mailed May 4. That’s two weeks from now.
Start contributing to the Becerra momentum. Let others know.
Becerra is recognized as the most experience candidate. U.S Secretary of Health and Human Services, an elected California attorney general, with over 20 years served in the U.S. Congress.
Are you tired of hearing from Mr. Many-ads Billionaire?
Are you concerned that two MAGA-supporting Republican candidates (Hilton and Bianco) are on track to claim both spots on the November ballot for governor?
Why not be among those who determine who will be your party’s leading candidate for governor, in the polling happening after this Wednesday’s debate?
Support Xavier Becerra for governor. He has the momentum.
An easy name to remember. I like that Xavier rhymes with savior.

Look Doug - your candidate is an extruded group thinker from the Demo machine. If you think that graft and corruption are bad now under Newsom, look at his term as HHS Secretary. Billions were sluiced away without any tangible results other than laughing fraudsters in Minnesota and California. Perhaps you like it that way?
Thanks for your letter, Mr. Handerson, but I’d like to remind folks that Xavier also rhymes with “misbehavior.” And the argument is easily made that actions by Becerra are more akin to misbehavior than anything remotely close to a savior. Here’s a link (https://californiaglobe.com/fl/xavier-becerra-just-one-more-professional-politician-with-a-shady-past-who-needs-a-job/) to highlight Becerra’s shortcomings. If you’d like more information, I’d recommend you do a simple search for “Xavier Becerra is a failure” to see many links highlighting flaws attributed to Becerra.
Meanwhile, I’d recommend a vote for any Republican candidate, and if you’re unwilling, vote for anyone but Becerra. It’s easy. Remember that Xavier rhymes with misbehavior. BTW, is it true that a progressive anti-billionaire group founded by Bernie Sanders is endorsing billionaire Tom Steyer? Over Becerra?
