Sue is the pre-eminent and honest public servant. She has inspired me over the years to go into action on behalf our City that we both love. I will miss the articles in her.column. I will do my best to stay in touch. Every conversation we have I walk away learning many things.

Sarah, What a great editorial. Equity is absolutely the way to fairness. Without it fairness does not exist.

Thank you John! All work has great value. Read the book, "Being Nickeled and Dimed in America" by Barbara Ehrenreich. She stated in the book that she could not have done the work of theses so called "unskilled jobs" without help and training from her coworkers.

I agree with you! AS an older person who lived in rental housing until my forties when it was much easier to live in San Mateo, we need to build housing along transportation lines that is efficient and well designed.
