A Rose by any other name will still be a supervisor, albeit it one with gifts thanking her for a year as president of the Board of Supervisors. At Tuesday night’s board reorganization, Supervisor Rose Jacobs Gibson received two tokens playing on her name: a bunch of actual roses and a bracelet with a rose charm.
