The bill introduced in the state Senate not only to end registered gun sales at the Cow Palace but also transfer state property to Daly City and San Francisco constitutes a naked land grab by ill-advised parties without appreciation of history or the Cow Palace’s ongoing successful operation (“Bill seeks to end gun sales at Cow Palace” in the Feb. 15 edition of the Daily Journal).
Opened in 1941 with federal funds from the Works Progress Administration, the Cow Palace is financially successful, receiving no taxpayer funds from state or federal governments and providing enjoyment with flower shows, dog shows, the Grand National Rodeo, 4H events, conventions, the Dickens Fair every Christmas and technology conferences. There’s never been a reported homicide with a weapon purchased after weeks of background checks at a Cow Palace gun show. This proposed land grab by tax-eating local and state officials warrants speedy rejection.

More bull at the Cow Palace.
Quentin's wife is the president on the board of directors at the Cow Palace. FYI. I guess he's just trying to save his wife's job.
