Greatly appreciated the informative and refreshing Student News column on Veterans Day, “Paying respect to veterans,” written by Menlo-Atherton sophomore Eileen Liu. The article reeducated many about this day of remembrance and, most importantly, gave special attention to those who have served our country.
I was humbled by Eileen’s total understanding of Veterans Day and her call to remember and honor veterans. The fact that she’s just a young high school sophomore is, in itself, quite impressive.
Thank you, Eileen, for sharing with us “Veterans Day” Student News. It was greatly appreciated!
