Editor,

This past week has been filled with praised headlines for our deceased President, George H.W. Bush. Words like “High Praise,” “Steadfast” and “Man of the Highest Character” have found a common platform among major media outlets, social media pages and even discussions around the water cooler.

I was a little surprised as well Tom with the praise for HW especially from the left. In the day the Democrats labeled him as a racist, white supremacist and a war monger. You know, the same things they call anyone today if you disagree with them. His death did provide a moment to criticize our current president so that was an opportunity they couldn't let pass. You see, the liberal left wing media will ultimately like you if you are a conservative, you just have to die first. Then Tom, way to go to pull it all together by criticizing the current president which like an allergic reaction is unavoidable when suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. Way to go Tom, even in death, stand firm and don't let him off the hook or allow anything nice to be said about the man. Stay tough and hold your ground as we lay a 94 year old man 6 feet beneath it. No justice, no peace.

WASHINGTON/NEW YORK (Reuters) - U.S. prosecutors said on Friday President Donald Trump directed his personal lawyer to make illegal hush payments to two women ahead of the 2016 election, and also detailed a previously unknown attempt by a Russian to help the Trump campaign.

Tim: We should also include in 41's legacy that he didn't believe Atheists should be granted citizenship! Not only unconstitutional, but a slap in the face of non-believers that now make up 25% of the population, and increasing steadily. Yet, that percentage is far short of the more progressive and better educated nations in Northern Europe, where non-believers make up more than a vast majority.
