Sunday night I watched the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Pride Parade as it aired late on TV. I saw the little girl from the Nickelodeon special marching with her two moms, in Mayor Willie Brown's contingency. I saw them smile, I saw them wave, I saw looks of pride and honor, and happiness on all three faces as they marched arm in arm past the camera down the street.
They marched holding hand painted signs that said,
